The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 男主rif对比老版毫无男性气概，声音又难听，鲨鱼帮老大也不如老版的有气质。实在是年度翻拍灾难。
歌舞太棒了，布景、摄影也一流，两位主角缺少点魅力。
导演拍得不错，但是没有超越原版，文本上基本没改，视听上各玩各色。Gee, Officer Krupke这首歌的改编得不错，原版是当着警察的面唱的，这版里没有，是少年们的自说自话，更加突出了发生在他们身上的“社会性缺失”。主演表现基本失败。
如果是老版是舞台，这版就是片场。相比老版我更喜欢这版的处理，当然这也是仅导演层面来说。但这个故事实在是……
Tag是亚裔？一查wiki都惊呆了“Barnet wurde als Sohn einer japanischstämmigen Mutter geboren”，他妈是瑞典日本混血，是我见识短了。Anyway，很不错的圣诞电影，就是故事有点Klischee，太vorhersagbar.
我觉得还行啊 圣诞温馨浪漫电影 很符合当下的主题 也没有很烂俗
2.5 男女主其实台词念得还行，就是歌舞和面部与动作表演全无。剧情上跟贴近一点现代，但大致没变，也没有有心意的地方，总体还是拉！
电影一定是一种形式艺术表达，但一部电影仅靠100%的形式，忽略主题甚至内容，确实太煎熬了……
音乐剧电影到了Spielberg手里，尬唱也自然了，close up也正常了，编舞魅力不减，演员唱功弱点被顺利掩盖，还给了我Ariana Debose和Mike Faist 那么亮眼的戏份。老奶奶的Abuela改编还蛮有想法的。不得不服。

Only very few moments capture some glimpses of a Gene Kelly musical. Unlike Bruce Lee’s martial arts, actors fail to express themselves truly through body movements or singing, although Spielberg's mise-en-scene nails it, the 2021 version of WSS is far from a good remake. Still love it for speaking up for the minorities.

罗密欧与朱丽叶式的故事确实太老套了，可是美国的歌舞片也太好看了吧，尤其是中段那场女配穿黄色裙子那场舞蹈不仅配色美场面美，就连调度也很绝，可惜那种过度的政治正确也是大可不必，当然电影最重要
