The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 簡單來說就是 911大背景下的微觀群像，除了歌頌團結之類的普遍道德之外也不吝著墨於racist gender之類的沖突，其實是挺典的美式主旋律不過真誠得足夠打動人心😭好想去甘德看看
当太阳落山时
故事主要传达爱、善意和理解。演员之间配合地很好，同一拨演员分饰两个不同地域的人，期间的角色转换一点不突兀，甚至在最后能很好地融合在一起，实在厉害。舞台灯光主要就是冷暖色相的变化，但是样式很丰富。音乐契合故事的发展脉络，最后单纯只有乐队的呈现也是个很好的结尾方式。
音乐剧真是各种艺术元素的集大成者，诸多巧思，触动心弦。好久没有这样沉浸的体验了，观赏音乐剧的每一分钟里，生命似乎都更值得一些。

一面微笑一面泪流满面在音乐剧里是稀有体验，更像是属于罗杰斯和汉末斯坦的时代。但私以为，CFA和音乐之声这种剧存在的意义，就是告诉你，人可以做出多可怖的事就可以做出多美好的事。世界可以像911的纽约，也可以像911的Gander。
太好听了！不过音乐剧还是要看现场的！荧幕上真的差太多
几千旅客因为911滞留小镇的故事。说是音乐剧改编但更像是音乐剧录像。情节简单，音乐不错。

在911二十周年之际、疫情之后的今天看这次官摄比第一次旁观者的视角更能感同身受。第一首歌开始就想哭，焦虑、无助恐惧和不安到被治愈，全程跟唱的Me and the Sky，还是好喜欢CFA。遗憾2020年因为疫情没办法成行的巡演，still “honor what was lost，but we also commemorate what we found”。
紧凑的编排让观众游走于焦虑，亢奋和崩溃的状态之间。
