The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 又是A24，什么时候能加强一下叙事和内核就好了。

刚好年代片看得少，顺便补了长长见识。高塔、城池、城堡、山林，人文景观和自然风光都很有看头。摄影，构图也很有艺术感。强烈的宗教氛围感里，带着一丝丝的诡异。一看，还真的拿了一个最佳摄影奖。
【2.5】依旧拥有A24的独立调性：一种纵使风格千变万化但仍以优秀审美和求异心理所延续的精神。可惜本片不成体系的符号植入过多，节奏亦在拖累，让本应赏心悦目的风格之旅在某些时刻显得无比滞重。大卫·洛维的能力自然是不高，说句俗套的话叫只有佳句而无佳章。回头看去，《鬼魅浮生》更像个美丽的意外。
这是前不久看了《白狮奇缘》之后又看的一部分法国动物题材电影。

大生大死，旖丽童话。标志性的时间美学，转瞬永恒，还就是一 场 游 戏！
为啥找个印度人演高文。。。画面音乐都一流，就是过程略无聊了，还不如更往奇异惊悚上靠。。
确实是一个形式大于内容、自说自话的影片，但是导演对于兼具舞台感和神话魔幻的画面探索，还是让我对其很有好感。

真的好棒。大卫·洛维是我的菜诶。对那些对亚瑟王有很深了解的人来说，看这片估计会格外High吧？是一部“好看”的电影，很多隐喻看不出来，但单从美学和主题（学会赴死和骑士精神），认识本片后也不显得那么无趣。
很多隐喻和意象不太明白，但不影响整体的理解，即使不关注故事视听效果也能让人全神贯注两小时。完全不是惊悚片，预告片有欺骗性。
