The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 过去认为我们翻拍不好韩国的电影，现在看来韩国翻拍我们的电影照样水土不服。浪费了黄政民这么优秀的演员。
以前都是我们翻人家，这次看人家翻我们，亚洲文化圈的来回翻拍看起来大多都没啥违和感，比东西文化跨文化圈的翻拍容易接受的多。
又看到了鱿鱼游戏里的小姑娘，怎么还是这么惨？！
本片翻拍最不成功的地方，就在于依旧无法跳出韩国犯罪类型片的套路，而走出写实片的创作风格，反派一号神似王千源。

翻拍评分有些低，从节奏与娱乐性上我更喜欢黄政民的版本。

黄政民你知道吗？要是你不乱丢枪有枪不用，这个片子能早半个小时演完。
