The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 习惯了流浪，便再也无法停下上路的脚步。整片给我一种忧郁的诗意，在西方式的框架下，却也蕴含着东方式的哲理。上路的勇气总要大过无房的恐惧，而家的意义就在寻找的路上。
一个孤独女人的史诗，导演拍摄的风平浪静，科恩嫂却演绎出了情绪下的暗潮涌动。电影克制的恰到好处，是一部相当成熟的作品。

不过台词中的说教意味有些浓，情节之间不是很连贯，导致看的时候并没有多少共鸣。

联想到阿克曼的《安娜的旅程》。区别在于阿克曼风格化的镜头语言下是非常现实主义的片子，而赵婷现实主义外表下的镜头和情节是非常浪漫主义，甚至带有乌托邦色彩的。It’s not a bad thing. I like this film and hope I can practice this kind of life myself one day.
配乐毁了Frances McDormand的表演，空镜很像国家地理，这部片子真的走入那些游牧者的心了吗？
观感上比《骑士》好很多，更多的是对情绪和状态的表达。
“在路上”此前是凯鲁亚克式的，是年轻的，酷的，nomadland完成了一次祛魅，直面了公路电影主人公如何拉屎撒尿的现实问题，但拍得还是很美，每一个片段单看都像纪录片，整体又是电影的，大年初一看对我构成了新的意义
达登内遇见了马力克，可惜两者不要的赵婷照单全收。女主的表演是所有人中最不自然的(从Fargo后就一直是这个样，倒真不如最早的血迷宫)，配乐水准和片尾字幕更是堪比汽车广告水准
