老温原本是一低成本高效果成名的导演，拍了几部大制作后，反过来回到自己拿手的戏码居然风格全损，几个CG转场有些好看，但又有什么意义呢？

真人&动画，独唱&唱诗班
虽然并不是纯粹的温子仁式恐怖片，但还是极具温子仁的个人风格，初看有死寂、招魂、潜伏的恐怖氛围，后面看着看着又有种电锯惊魂+海王的感觉……反倒是结尾还挺温情，看来温导结婚之后心境也跟着发生了巨大的变化。

其他也还算传统风格的惊悚类型
就说这设定还是挺新颖的，但这片是真真不恐怖啊。
开场美式《午夜凶铃》/《咒怨》然后滑入《电锯惊魂》和一点B级片再加上新版《阴风阵阵》动作设计，核心是《走近科学》。（但杀时间可以看）
设置了两重悬念，一个是精神，一个是肉体，多半人三十分钟左右可猜到第一个，后面的虽然有所创意，但真的不高明，尤其是那玩意儿看起来神似异形剧组的抱脸虫。确实没想到此次温氏执导也与温氏监制成一样的品质了，本片甚至都算不上恐怖片，一个漏洞百出的悬疑本子上加了点伪科幻，加了点《电锯》的氛围(电流人声真的不是直接拿Saw的原声吗？），当你与导演同时意识到片子已然不可能再往恐怖向走去时，后面直接就成了港式动作片了，不得不说动作指导还可以。
