The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 四星给叙述故事的能力和演员的能力，不能给五星是因为这种普通人的成功实在太偶然，大部分时候还是“蝼蚁”。

剧情有些套路化，但是人物刻画很动人。最喜欢汪春梅，坚韧的女性角色。
这种片子最考验人性，你心中尊重历史事件背后的意义，自然就会有情怀加分，如果你心中无国界，非要与其他国家战争片做对比，那自然就会觉得片子有些俗，所以你是个怎样的人？
虽然内容有点密集，枪、炮、肉搏、飞机都想展现，切换有点快了。但是依然超感动啊！尤其是胡军演的雷爹去世那里，从周围人的各种表现，全方位立体式地催泪。还有一点儿杨根思和冰雕连，对泪腺是个打击。
从《爱情神话》和《奇迹》的评分能得出一结论，活跃在豆瓣上的人多数是70、80后，这部电影，最起码也得八分以上啊，别挑逻辑和合理性，不能自己没遇到过好人就说天下没那么多的好人，一个机遇在景昊面前是机遇，在别人面前就是浮云，自己没抓着别人抓着了说这肯定瞎扯，太坐井观天了。

剧本其实还挺俗套的，不过拍的还是挺好看的，带有浓厚的底层小人物英雄主义色彩。

拍得稀碎，完全靠对志愿军的民族情感撑住各个环节，即使拍得这么烂，也很难不为其中的英雄主义而感动😭
