The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 6.6 在奥逊威尔斯之后怎么还能有这样的《麦克白》? 乔尔科恩卯足了劲为形式招魂，甚至尝试带来胶片放映的效果，可整体的观念都太过陈旧且文本没能做到最简，人物的塑造和库泽尔版半斤八两吧，可能是戏份最少的一版麦克白夫人了。

优点和缺点一样突出，构图摄影非常完美，更接近舞台剧式的表演则是一把双刃剑，一方面最大限度的还原了莎翁作品的的文学性，另一方面也最大限度的限制了作为电影作品存在的价值！

念白很舞台化，背景很表现主义，光线是最棒的。华盛顿和麦克多蒙德的表演就中规中矩吧。整体文本的内核和构思没有太大新意。如果能移植到舞台，复刻光线和背景，我觉得感受会更好。

@NYFF59十分古典且戏剧化的黑白片，摄影和音乐与全片氛围很协调，科恩真的很有让人不明觉厉的能力，我大为震撼。近距离见到了导演影帝影后十分开心！！
