剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     亮点还是不少的：娴熟的室内长镜头调度、写实风格和超现实画面的相互交叉、葬礼后对死后世界的想象等等。然而个人认为“生死”这样的主题适合单独集中表现，加入太多无关的支线容易冲淡这样的厚重感。闺蜜的婚姻、女主从事的戏曲表演工作、女主的婚外情似乎都和主题没有太大联系。前半段的剪辑也有可以改进的地方，总体的感觉还是很真诚的。

    2022.04.30，时间太短，想表达的东西又太多太晦涩，最后什么也没讲明白，反而让影像叙事文本本身成了一种“后新海诚式”模板化的，只剩外在形式的空壳，最后只能在几场跑酷影像华彩片段窥见泡泡的“本来面貌”。但就那几场华彩片段而言，泡泡做到了让我能无视它的绝大部分缺点，作画、影像叙事设计、观众心理参与各方面拉满，业界的顶级水准。说白了，网飞和华纳什么尿性？创作话语权都不在作者手里，怎么能拍出好片？
