The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 竟然是小朋友们能更坦然的面对、清晰的认识这个世界。画面构图视觉上很舒适。
故作姿态，在大人世界的强势引导下建构出虚拟的孩童视角。

Miles总是给每个角色最大的尊重，在他的电影里每个人都值得被爱被倾听。这部新作剧作层面明显不如前两作，但依然保持着细腻敏感。孤儿扮演这个设定很绝，侄子和叔叔互相拯救，依然保留学习成长的主题，温柔真的可以拯救一切。
C'mon and C'mon, find and find.
任何型男老了都变成暖男，杰昆亦如是，在表现慈父感和为了和孩子好好相处的各种细节真的是分寸太好，好演员果然经得起任何角色。电影里老少互动的和谐感，黑白片的质感也超好。
7.4 显然不是最佳译名，“心门今始为君开/打开心门向天开/告诉我”比较合适，古典音乐、黑白画面、家庭/儿童类型，但何尝不是对话成人。

情绪的不断变化，脆弱敏感又如此吸引人，可以一直一直拍下去。
