The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 【B】必然的，轮回的，且总是可被预测的。罪孽、伤痕、受难与救赎，那些剧情被讲述的方式，正如主人公的生活一般沉闷，当然也伴随着极简的节律重复。同时也在他人的入侵中逐渐消解孤独壁垒，节奏走向失控，无论是常规的牌局博弈，还是妖艳的鱼眼镜头，都在导向那个必然的结局。也可以说全片都是为了最后一个镜头而拍，几乎完全布列松式的，跨越隔阂的温暖。
cliché，很多地方情感处理得有点尴尬，看得我有点脚趾扣地

腔调挺足的，调性一点点邪性，一点点古典，当然布列松啥的我我我还get不了。关键问题是这个故事我看不懂，是反战？反漂亮国？救赎？那这些和算牌和赌博又有啥关系？就男主一张冷脸西装革履的坐在赌桌前去拯救一个乱七八糟的小屁孩，我莫民的觉得这是bl场景~~~救命

被原著吸引过来的。感觉这个改编蛮成功，剧情快起来了，无关的人物也去掉了一些。但俩人的演技真的不咋地。
