外硬内软的人碰上被父亲教育“做个好人”外软内硬的人一败涂地，所以要求阳刚有什么用？他不照样可能是个gay可能不生三胎吗。感觉结局儿子在窗台意味深长下一步是想用床底下的炭疽绳搞死继父把二胎扼杀在肚子中，就像他对他父亲做的那样（上吊存疑）
原来是个深柜故事，卷福冷酷的外表下其实是个情种来着
恐同皆深柜…故事很好隐藏了许多情绪，也因此难以代入角色。人物设定，钢琴等延续自钢琴课，表现西部旷野与新西兰小岛的美学风格不同，但一样被坎皮恩抓到精髓。勇敢正义的西部精神得不到延续是因为渐渐被恶意取代

好喜欢！整个电影拍得非常含蓄克制，看完当下会有点云里雾里，人物情感的交织繁复，而故事情节又很简单，走出电影院却让我回味无穷，回忆起一些细节，有点惊叹也有点怅然。电影的视听很出色，极好地渲染出了那种孤独压抑的氛围，这么美的电影是值得去电影院二刷的，在电脑上看Netflix对得起Jane Campion吗？Benedict Cumberbatch的演出相当精彩，人物性格刻画细腻，尤其一些细微的情感变化都拿捏得很好，张弛有度，私心我要给他今年的最佳男主了！
