The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. interesting angle..but sports are all about the winning spirit, passion, obsession..just not feeling the excitement..the father/coach figure, if only it did a decent job as Dangal. such an inspiring journey, this movie seems barely do justice to their stories. the Williams sister endorsed it so maybe it's a love letter to their parents not for fans
老威廉姆斯这人设实在喜欢不起来，连带着威尔·史密斯的表演也看不下去，我反而觉得演妈妈的安洁纽·艾莉丝演技更佳，厨房争吵戏明显女好于男。
可是抄得不好，摄影机靠理查德或者大威都不够近，难以打动人。加上夹带了不少私货，观感直线下降。
虽然威尔·史密斯在奥斯卡颁奖典礼上的表现不怎么样，但由他饰演的理查德·威廉姆斯的确是一位很出色的家长。
比起片子和影帝，的確那一拳看的更加爽快，畢竟嘴賤的都是欠揍的
很平平无奇的传记片，威尔就像那种最普通的父亲，拼了老命一直给孩子提供各种可能性。

难以评价的父亲，毕竟天赋才是更多的决定了一个运动员的上限，如果不是两个女儿恰好有这样的天赋，她们的生活又该有多凄惨？更不用说私生活一塌糊涂，让人敬佩，又难以喜欢

活人的传记片不好拍啊，处处流露出怕被找麻烦的谨慎。三星半。比摔爸更深刻和进步一点，但也没有令人难忘的台词和桥段。
拍的是一个刚愎自用的爹，我看到的一个温柔支持的妈，种族歧视我没看见多少，看到的更多的是父权，虽然这个父亲已经好于95%的父亲了
除了要女儿接受教育外，这片一点都不讨喜，男主自己说要谦逊却跑去坑教练，不到最後段根本是个专横，自以为自己最懂的货，就算两个女儿成功了，只看这片我根本看不出男主哪里是King(蛮横度倒是对上了)。
特别普通的一部奥斯卡制作，连结尾专门选了一场大威没赢的比赛都很刻意。 人家姐妹俩本身不比这电影好看。
很像 摔跤吧爸爸，好看，不紧不慢地记录着一家人的经历，执着倔强的父母带着听话的女儿们，从ghtto到top society，一步一步，也曾有着屈辱的过去，但仍坚持挺过来。父亲是个洗脑专家，自己可能有些盲目自信，但孩子们却是真的自信啊！话说这个电影里父亲曾遭受流氓无赖的毒打，那种感觉有多难受，可是颁奖礼上，smith却对主持人大打出手，实在是己所不欲施于人啊
又是一部披着体育传记外皮的黑人电影，就正儿八经的拍一部正常的电影不行吗，为了得奖必须要往政治正确上靠吗？

Will Smith演得太好了，密謀精算的父親，很聽話的女兒，那種衝破命運枷鎖的頑強卻又害怕成為殉道者，以及面對首個失敗作結的傳奇。
