The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 电影的优点来自原著，缺点来自除了文本其它平平。中间那一段幻想华彩明显放错了地方。估计是篇幅的原因，收尾太晚太轻。而最致命的是，对于主题与现实的关联有些肤浅。看完觉得最厉害的是巴尔扎克。
没看过原著，但电影宛如一部带画面的有声小说，只听旁白就能知道故事惹。

他贪婪，自大且张狂，温柔，善良且执着，他极具才华，又趋炎附势。他穿着朴素的白衬衫跑去巴黎，又画着贵族的眼线光着身子回到家乡的湖边。湖面波光潋滟，不过是大梦一场空。

了不起的巴尔扎克，关于新闻的讽刺太应景了。本片也精心制作，不辜负名著。

退隐的高手，叛逆的儿子，“连鱼都能追踪”的墨西哥人，满满一袋钱……西部片没有这些俗套的设定也就不好看了。
场景和配乐真的好华丽啊！可这剧情推动全靠旁白？？有声书？？？
也没爽到什么，开始大舅哥被爆了头，大家枪法集体失准。
往往，得到一切的代价，远远大于失去一切的代价。

经典就是，故事简单又意味深长，现实中总感觉似曾相识。
名声决定一切的时代可不就得各种装嘛，可惜最终也没靠女人上位。
