The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 非常平庸的剧本和拍摄，但是谁又能拒绝戏中戏的尼古拉斯凯奇呢？作为拿过奥斯卡又火遍全球同时又烂片缠身，这样大起大落的经历真的太适合这样的题材了。可惜了这次的契机。希望凯奇大叔还债结束还能重回巅峰！
尼古拉斯·凯奇扮演尼古拉斯·凯奇，对影迷来说一些梗和细节值得玩味，整个故事游离在虚构与现实之间，挺有趣的。关于电影中与内心另一个人格自我对话的部分摘掉或许更好，另外佩德罗·帕斯卡也很加分，甚至比凯奇还符合这部电影的基调。

剧本构思有创意在里面，就是可惜拿掉这个创意，依然是部小成本的制作，而且导演团队的功力有限，成片效果一般。

凯奇拍了一部调侃自己烂片生涯的烂片，真对不起那些在片中被消费的他过往的高光时刻。俱往矣，还是尘归尘土归土吧。
我的评价是：不如《帕丁顿熊2》
7/10。看的上一部凯奇作品正好是《我心狂野》，落魄演员凯奇和当年的巨星凯奇对话，无比怀念却依然要故作诙谐给粉丝和观众强调that's my job，果然喜剧的内核都是悲剧。
笑死我了！哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈！

自我救赎来自于自我致敬，或许凯奇的演艺生涯真的走到尽头了。
其实凯奇的人设都是被电影评论和巨大的粉丝「营销狂欢」所「构陷」，其所谓经典代表作也不过是被大家津津乐道的一些动作片（如今看来也不过如此），于是索性自我嘲讽。看得出本片的编剧是真正的凯奇粉。而一旦黑到深处却也透露出不少「元电影」的奥秘，在这个角度（电影类型基本剖析）上倒也是本片最大的亮点。说实话凯奇的「烂片之王」头衔如今看到越来越利大于弊了。
封面拍得这么飞，实际还不如妈的多重宇宙。You are so not back.
不够癫狂，片时长，剧本弱、投资少，可毕竟还是凯奇啊，哇塞。

真的很不错，有几个笑点确实非常好笑，一点也不尴尬，讽刺很幽默。配乐也很好，值得进影院。SXSW2022
