A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.
以黄片桥段做铺垫，引出一对老人杀人魔，收尾的草草了事。有点小创意，就是太重口，拿老年人开涮。小舞蹈那段升华一下，顶多是个致敬片。5
好无聊以至于让我读川端康成的心有些许退却。高桥一生在这个剧情中显得很碍眼是怎么回事？Nao盘发气质佳恍惚间像年轻时的优酱。
就是很想看结尾的“银河”是如何体现的，看到最后发现导演用了另一种手法。故事清晰了，但是还是好希望是：［那银河“哗啦”一声，向他的心坎上倾泻下来］。即便这一切皆是徒劳。
估计会让很多人生理不适，但我觉得这是1970年代SnuffFilm的回魂之作，短小精悍、简单粗暴，是继《爱之女巫》之后，做的最好的一部复古亚类型。反派老夫妻几乎是格兰特·伍德那幅经典画作《美国哥特式》的挪用（尤其老太太抡起叉子），电影主要用《德州电锯杀人狂》搭骨架，同时代几部经典片元素去添皮肉：《人食人实录》（摄制组拍片）+《唾弃我的坟墓》（裸泳）+《活死人黎明》（电视媒介）+《深喉》（色情片）为辅，多种元素融成一套自己的东西，匹配剪辑/分屏玩得有巧劲儿，却不卖弄，最后还能对反派角色报以一定的同情，在老年人对青春肉体的渴望上又与《万能钥匙》不谋而合。
说完缺点，优点也很明显，有高桥一生（稳定发挥）

本以为会搞个万能钥匙之类的结局，结果期待值过高，另外希望肌肉男下次多露肉！
复古格调为影片注入色彩，迷人气质撩起深入的探寻。怪异氛围营造出压迫紧张的快感，色情影像的拍摄是对性爱最直给的赞颂。我们都需要性爱来调味人生，它从来都不该被冠以丑陋与肮脏。年轻人的热烈与疯狂反衬出老年人的死寂与悲凉，衰老的躯体仍然向往肉体的欢愉。透过窗户窥视绽放的欲望，镜中的自己只剩末路的倒数。垂涎不可得的美好，杀戮才能带来些许的慰藉。致敬《逍遥骑士》的转切，黑白电视的宗教寓意，欣赏死亡的轻盈舞动，猎枪扣下扳机，鳄鱼张开血口，想要的人生从来都不属于你，我们的小秘密就在这腐烂的血泊之中……
快结束的时候 前排老哥大笑一声 我们也没忍住 紧接着 整个影厅都充满了快活的空气
拍出了原著的蒙太奇感和混沌感。看到叶子和驹子同时出现在温泉旅店时，突然跟岛村共情，产生了类似莎士比亚《仲夏夜之梦》里的那种眩晕感。嘿，love shuffle，低温环境下的魔幻。但是没有喜乐，只有心酸。像是片中总在重复的“徒劳”。是徒劳啊，驹子总是活在别处，叶子苦于错付，岛村始终在迷茫。高桥一生的确还挺色气的。奈绪的演出好厉害！
怎么才不徒劳？也许是我们要的太多，不期许，道法自然。
描写没有看过的舞蹈，或者憧憬不曾有过爱情，又或那样绝望地恋慕一个幻影，如果这些都是徒劳，那人活于世本身，岂不也是一种徒劳，似杨千嬅所唱：真正得到有什么好 他有什么好 亦归于尘土
看这部小说时阅读能力还不强，这部电影将其中细腻的情感体现出来了，我觉得挺好
一口气看了1965年版本和今年新版的两部。65年古典完整细腻扎实，在22版里看着不明所以的驹子的几场戏在65版都给出了答案。65版将三个人物都塑造得很立体和清楚，而22版则把男主和洋子全都弱化了。驹子这种疯癫演法和后期与岛村先生的诡异交流其实很不贴现实，（这哪是艺伎和客人关系？）但是更加肆意放飞和先锋，更具有诡异的气氛。
让我想起了刚看完小说时候的心情，那些挥之不去的好似来自雪国的冷意；但，电影明显情绪没到位，没有足够的留白，小说可以用文字描述氛围和剧情，但电影不能这样。
哗啦倾泻下的整座银河，
這種古典小說改的電影真要去瞭解原著……不然大部分是沒看懂……
徒劳，都是徒劳。奈绪偶尔像苍井优，高桥的泡面卷发偶尔像bg的蔷薇头。
半部黄片，半部虐杀片，实际上看完才发现是喜剧片，事实证明，烂番茄评分的高低基本没有什么参考度，导演想拍三部曲，第二部《Pearl》是前传，如果三部曲是一个循环轮回的闭环的话还算有点新意
不懂日文，就不敢说读过原著。按此道理，反而更愿意接受一个电影版。虽然仍需要字幕理解对白，但视觉的丰富，以及三味线的奏唱，还原着意境。川端康成原著的故事，无需复述。拍成影片，必定经过导演的理解再加工，就很难不被指摘。可这又何妨？这次的氛围很好了。奈绪的美演绎了驹子，迷乱了岛村，也迷乱我。最后，从驹子的角度再理解一遍已经发生的。解释了“迷乱”，诠释了性别、阶级不同而产生的错位。爱与不爱都被冻在这雪国了，那里是另个世界～
