稍偏低龄向的反传统盗宝题材影片。除主角团外，市长和警长的女性设定均令人耳目一新。尽管也是充分商业化考量后的产物，但梦工厂动画比起「稳健」得几近保守的迪士尼还是有趣多了。
节奏很快，无厘头风格的盗亦有道好蛋联盟，值得寻味的是，鲨鱼角色从哈利奎因开始一直都是蠢萌状态，这种反差萌反而能起到更好的喜剧效果。
