The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 演员挺好的，看得出导演拍得也很认真，就是剧本差了点意思。

范伟真的很厉害，是真厉害。其他厉害是雪，就没停过。导演很努力的风格化，一直控制自己在动作场景上不要神剧。
完成度还是蛮高的，一直看下去，一丝的龇牙咧嘴、一丝的诡异，片中各种的隐喻，估计一些人没有代入感是看不下去的。
开头10分钟太凌乱。
导编演皆超出预期，近些年难得的主旋律佳作。豆瓣评分太低了，加一星。
其实全片最感动的段落是教导员在车窗上画出党旗的那一刻，无论身处何地，党和人民都在心中。最后老洪扣上帽子，安静的等待着死亡，他知道他的死换来的是前线几十万将士的命，是中华民族的希望
属于一开篇大家都知道要讲的是什么故事，可故事却也重复老旧的套路，让人看得索然无味。
电影没什么亮点，也没大毛病，平平之作，但起码好过同期上映的大多数电影，包括评分超高，吹破天的几部片子。

【6.5】A24的恐怖片还是有其独树一帜的风格的，但中段开始几位角色的降智作死行为还是没跳出一般恐怖片的剧情窠臼。

这么熟悉的故事都能拍的这么难代入，到底是因为什么。人物写得扁平，这么厉害的演员都立体不起来。人物不行故事不可能写好，写不好故事何谈情感。类型片不能靠情感引发观众共情，就只剩下2个小时的无尽拖沓。
范伟死前说：“太阳出来…”还蛮感人的，虽然之前剧情还是有点浮夸。
