Ten years ago, Ginny (Toni Gonzaga), an Architecture student, and Marco (Piolo Pascual), a History professor, began a one-of-a-kind and unpredictable love story. In the five years that they were together, they brought out the best in each other, which included Marco's unrealized dream of becoming a chef. Together, they worked towards their dream of opening up a restaurant, but when Ginny realized her own pursuits were different from his, she rejected his wedding proposal and left the country for a Masters degree in Architecture. At present, Ginny co-owns a one-stop Architecture and Interior Design firm specializing in Restoration. She receives an email from Marco, which was written and sent after their break-up, meant to be read four years later. It makes her feel even more regretful of leaving the love of her life. 好棒好好看啊，很愉悦也很动人，and this movie makes so fucking sad….
很喜欢Luck的骚鸡人设，will很好看。其实如果Charlie错过了Howie会更好一些。用古典异性恋框架的爱情故事来翻拍gay版会显得有些weird，虽然提到很多次heteronormativity，但似乎…也许这可能是导演想要表达的，即便在火烧岛，也没能解决掉它。

除了比弗利娇妻和撸姐的几个梗，笑点在哪里？烂俗肤浅的刻板印象
非常好看。年輕酷兒嚮往且需要在這個世代看到的浪漫喜劇。熱評提到的好幾天在這不打炮純嘮嗑的，我很難過你們無法從這部電影得到愉悅感，反而是加深順從且內化了整個社會的恐同和刻板印象在你自己的身上。 It's too cute and makes me weirdly horny like wtf.

之前在吉野贤治的书里就听说了fire island，就像LGBT的乌托邦。有生之年一定要去一次，体验一次完完全全做回自我的感觉。
2.5/5 该片少数做对了的地方：1）being vulnerable is okay; 2）为亚裔男同增加了cinematic representation; 3）（浅薄地）视像化了男同社群令人窒息的种族主义与white queerness. 但这也是它令人失望的地方：批评heteronormativity时行heteronormativity之实，讽刺white queerness却无时不刻都充斥着white queerness. 批判力度还不如亚裔同志博主写得出彩的网文，2022年了还在玩把主角换成少数群体、内核却依旧陈腐的烂把戏。virtue signaling, queer-baiting content at its finest…（Bowen请好好挑剧本…
