可怕的并不是女巫的预言，而是深不可测的人心。整部电影舞台感很强，让我一个想打完工随便看看的人有点意外...
极简的美术风格好漂亮。动作戏也恰到好处最后挥剑砍头的戏很精彩。这样的光影布景，想看全本儿的莎士比亚。三女巫和老人的设计太惊艳。麦克白的狠、疯癫、纠结演得差点意思。洛斯的改编串起来众多人物关系，包括最后，带走班柯之子这个设计也很好的补充了三女巫的预言。
华盛顿将被蛊惑者的彷徨焦虑不安展现的恰如其分，麦克多蒙德有点让我诧异，也许她更适合生活化的表演吧。麦克白在有了面对最终审判死志的时候，又变回了那个他熟悉的更为坚定的自己；而他在欲望和野心驱使下的阴谋者妻子也必然无法逃脱命运的审判。复杂的人性和角色转换带来的悲剧从古至今反复上演，看似想要摆脱宿命却不断被卷入宿命的深渊。性格、欲望纠缠在秩序和灾厄之中，《麦克白》对人性悲剧性的诠释也许是莎翁悲剧里最顶尖的。该片去除了些许老版电影中屡见不鲜的诗意，更符合现代人的审美，我个人更喜欢早年间的几个版本。
风格很好，很像伯格曼的第七封印。但没有新的东西。style over substance
沃卓斯基兄弟已废，科恩兄弟依然从未让我失望过。黑白色调、极简风格、典雅台词，深入内心的野心、恐惧与癫狂。丹泽尔.华盛顿还是这么的稳。

总的来说，该片舞台剧不像舞台剧，电影不像电影。

科恩采用表现主义，却又把古典表现得过于古典，反而少了一些新意
同样是以麦克白为蓝本，麦克白夫妇的表演远不及《蜘蛛巢城》里的三船敏郎和山田五十铃。
看过很多个版本的《麦克白》，再次看科恩兄弟版本的新作《麦克白》还是有着不一样的体验。典型的表现主义，甚至角色脸上最为清晰的皱纹和最细微的一举一动都能清楚的尽收眼底，让演员来带动剧本。摄影没的说，极简主义贯穿全片。配合上丹泽尔·华盛顿和麦姨两位影帝影后深厚的台词功底，不失为一部优秀的莎士比亚改编作品。
极简服化道，剩下的就全是细节和特写，相当托华盛顿和科恩嫂的表演。他们完成地非常出色。连女巫都演得出彩。相较之下，演麦克迪夫的黑人演员很逊。
建筑设计很有意思，新古典主义美学在光影中被推向极致。行善只需要跟随内心的声音即可，而作恶却需要很强大。
当万千黑鸦从路边飞过，就象征新一轮的杀伐又将开始。由欲望勾出的自我，往往会在邪恶之中印证自己的本我。极简主义的舞台剧式风格，黑白影调配合小画幅的设置，导演几乎将所有的视点都聚焦在人物的表演之中。对于莎士比亚的麦克白解读有很多，对于这种影像改编往往要加入作者性才会不落俗套，他将麦克白的欲望归结于自我的反叛和自省，利用这种具有规律的人性思考来体现无常的道德困境，只是表演和摄影太过亮眼，让人总觉得顾此失彼…（真的觉得表演性奖项全给这部作品也不为过）

老师连着两次课都提了这部电影，我os：那我去看看吧
一切都是舞台形式,极简的置景配以黑白,呈现了强烈的光影,让角色的内心不言而喻,可惜调度很平庸,再配以读本形式的台词,基本没有任何创新,甚至腐朽地一直重复,只能说是一部偏电影化的舞台剧,而非电影本身.
