The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 这样的剧里还要体现政治正确也是不理解了。但是风景，音乐和女主（虽然不符合原著）都很美，可以一看。

Scream从一开始就是关于惊悚电影的元叙述，这一次是围绕第一部元叙述的元叙述，不玩共时的框架叙事，而是历时的框架叙述。对于电影的批判，Scream继承了下来。所以它不叫Scream 5，而叫Scream 2022。

我以为女主不会蠢到手机录音没有备份就去找社长对峙，但我错了，女主忽高忽低的智商真的让我着急，还有韩国警察也是sb脑袋有坑，非要开枪打女主才可以吗，直接爬上推土机给女主抓下来不就得了，那么大块头对付一个十几岁小姑娘还需要用枪
所谓新素材就是稀烂的剧情、更多的血腥和暴力

？？？我本来还以为这部会好看一点？我问号真的太多了。医院里空无一人？凶手一打四时，两个健康人就在旁边看着？凶手被枪打死了，第一反应不是去揭开真面目而是四个人一起逃走？？真的这个警长活该去死，这个镇的人都全部活该去死。这种白痴情节太侮辱人了，观众全部是傻逼吗？
恐怖力度一般般，但是有趣的地方在于这个案件是影迷策划的，电影台词里都是对这些经典恐怖电影的致敬和玩梗，更不用说还有对系列电影的旧事重提……也太好玩了！
又名《回忆杀》、《是谁杀了我，而我又杀了谁？》
虽然是第五集，但基本上是类似去年的捉鬼敢死队、黑客帝国，就是多年后对最原始一集的致敬，炒冷饭。有新一代演员加盟，但老演员也都回归。要说这个系列真的算最早期一批大女主逃生电影，随着时代变迁，这一集的变化是，女性角色变更多，但是不尖叫了，而是个个都很凶狠。而且个人觉得这次更血腥、疯狂，有一些情节各种卖关子，也有一些意想不到的角色死掉。
