The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 一般，俗套的Chick flick电视电影即视感。2022年小妞电影终于开始反思有毒的毕业舞会、国王王后文化，SNS和直播取代了啦啦队和校霸的天下，这点冲突还挺有意思的。不过这种青春片本来就很难拍好，下饭看不亏。
这种类型的信仰电影要比纯福音电影更有力量。纯福音电影太过温和，是给信徒们看的。而这种确实适合给慕道友看。
真实故事改编，故事非常的好，感觉当中稍微有些拖沓，导演对于节奏和故事衔接交代有些问题，演员表演的不错，把勇敢的冒险者很好的展现出来了。大部分的片段感觉都比较真实，船长的专制和艾佛森的宽容。最后的幻觉挺不错的，给观众带来了很多猜想的空间。
影片前后调性不一致，但还是感谢电影展示这个故事。初始目的勿论，探险家以历史角度评判是全人类的英雄，人类之所以能够拥抱整个地球，他们每一个人都居功至伟。
