Whenever I see La Paura I think of it as a companion piece to Eyes Wide Shut, or maybe it is the other way around. Adultery makes both films tick but in different ways. I think Phillip French was right on the money when he pointed out a Wizard of Oz thing in Kubrick's last work. Like Dorothy, Tom and Nicole go through fantasies and nightmares and at the end Dorothy's reassuring childish motto "there's no place like home" is ironically updated to the adult circumstantial adage "there's no sex like marital sex". Kubrick's take is intellectual, he never leaves the world of ideas to touch the ground. He taunts the audience first with an erotic movie and then with a thriller and refuses to deliver either of them. He was married to his third wife for 40 years, until he died. Rossellini was still married to Ingrid Bergman when he directed La Paura; they had been adulterous lovers and their infidelity widely criticized La Paura is a tale, a noirish one. The noir intrigue is solved and the tale has a happy ending. The city is noir; the country is tale, the territory where childhood is possible. The transition is operated in the most regular way: by car, a long-held shot taken from the front of the car as it rides into the road, as if we were entering a different dimension. Irene (Bergman) starts the movie: we just see a dark city landscape but her voice-over narration tells us of her angst and informs us that the story is a flashback, hers. Bergman's been cheating on her husband. At first guilt is just psychological torture but soon expands into economic blackmail and then grows into something else. From beginning to end the movie focuses on what Bergman feels, every other character is there to make her feel something. Only when the director gives away the plot before the main character can find out does he want us to feel something Bergman still can't. When she finds out, we have already experienced the warped mechanics of the situation and we may focus once again on the emotional impact it has on Bergman's Irene. In La Paura treasons are not imagined but real, nightmares are deliberate and the couple's venom suppurates in bitter ways. Needless to say, Ingrid has another of her rough rides in the movies but Rossellini doesn't dare put her away as he did in Europa 51, nor does he abandon her to the inscrutable impassivity of nature (Stromboli). His gift is less transcendent and fragile than the conclusion of Viaggio in Italia. He just gives his wife as much of a fairy tale ending as a real woman can have, a human landscape where she can finally feel at home. Back to the country, a half lit interior scene where shadows suggest the comfort of sleep. After all, it's the "fairy godmother" who speaks the last words in the movie.

印象最深刻是那本被弄丢的杜拉斯的书，初版，带有勾划、笔记和指甲印。
#Cinemania21 7/10 自由率真的年轻女孩遇见了成熟知性的女作家，女性之间的互相吸引和暧昧恰到好处。Anaïs的眼神充满着憧憬和炽热，Emilie的神情流露着怜爱与克制。理性难以打败感性，冷静难以击退热情。很喜欢沙滩和结尾的两场戏，爱欲与爱情都很美。
是我喜欢的电影。两演员有火花，尤其年上有魅力，是我喜欢的女演员，存了她好几部作品。结尾有意思，“我不同意”，然后牵着她进了一直不敢坐的电梯，哈哈，喜欢看似不靠谱、却知道自己要什么不要什么的阿娜伊斯，那几件小花裙都好好看。

手捧鲜花跑进公寓自顾自喋喋不休，推掉会议坐火车去听爱慕之人的座谈会，阿娜伊斯是那种完全忠于欲望、随心所欲的女人，她的不按常理出牌总让人措手不及，由此散发的独特魅力也让人深陷其中；弗兰西斯·哈、世界上最糟糕的人还有此片都有女主在街头奔跑的画面，她们都是像风一样自由又同火一样热烈的女人，大概只要不停奔跑，那些琐碎的、难缠的就会被抛在身后，那些明媚的、灿烂的就会扑面而来。

春风柔和时不时能拂过我就好，实在是羡慕也惧怕阿娜伊斯的莽与热。红色和蓝色是我眼里最适配的颜色，我要参考买一条红裙子然后刷一面雾蓝色的墙。
自由洒脱又热情。结局好评～我最爱的年上年下相爱的剧情～沙滩做爱戏拍得太美了～作家说分手都说得这么文艺平静又温柔，但还是抵不过年下的一句“我不同意”～

很意外的居然是拉拉电影，虽然导演自身是在讲述一种状态：一种关于内心淤积的情绪，对自我的迷失，对世界的惶惑。人总会想要从外部的爱来获得内部的救赎，总会把爱的人看作完美的偶像，形成一种宗教的崇拜。
跟侯麦的风格好像哦）很爱法国电影，我每次看完一部不错的片子都好像对生活重燃热情、焕发活力，开始飞快地起身做事做手头上的工作什么的。敢于质疑、敢于争取、敢于爱那些不可能的人，叫人远观而羡之

为什么又又又又又又是LGBT? 还以为是小女生的随性生活，还蛮有趣的，但是为什么拐着弯又跑到那个神奇的路线去了？而且还是一个小女生把把人家一家夫妻俩个都搞上了，更加不可思议的是居然看起来还很清新浪漫，毫无违和感，这就不得不说法国人在某些方面的特殊能力了！
