The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 才华横溢的乔纳森·拉森蜗居在纽约一个小公寓里写音乐，在1983年到1990年之间，他一直在创作一部叫《傲慢》的音乐剧。
叙事是片段式的，对于不了解传记片主人公的观众会觉得混乱。用音乐串起情绪效果很好。加菲的表演其实不够深入，演唱部分倒是卖力。
音乐剧粉滤镜加成，看到了很多Rent的影子，LMM这情怀牌很会打啊。
确实有被狠狠的打动到，加菲的表演增色很多。个人觉得音乐剧与电影的融合很好，当然因此也能想象到批评者们的矛头一定是指向与音乐对影像的侵占，但全片最艺术化最棒的部分依然是影像化的——游泳池里的五线谱太美了。

艺术家短暂的一生，遗憾的爱情，无人理会的才华，贫苦的生活，从痛苦中开出绚烂的花。加菲的表演太动人。比《吉屋出租》完成度高很多，这才是音乐剧电影应该有的样子，音乐和剧情完美融合。

过分戏剧化，隐隐约约能看到很多好莱坞传记片的影子。但真情实感被感动，眼泪不值钱。音乐也是真好听。
一直在等seasons of love, 原来是最难的故事啊。看到桑爷好难过。

我能看《第七封印》《都灵之马》《四次》《另一个故乡》这种闷片都能看得津津有味，歌舞片对我来说是一个坎，上次愉悦地看完一个歌舞片还是《爱乐之城》，这片的主角本身就长在我的审美盲点上（不知道怎回事，看到这种五官尤其是咧嘴的时候，脑海里总是浮现出傻子的观感），加上每次一起音乐——不能说好坏，只能说实在是太不对路了，于是，分数再高，也无法坚持看下去，不想折磨自己。
Sunday，游泳池的五线谱，体育场的独唱……让人印象深刻。倒数计时，坚持热爱，去写自己熟悉的生活。
Andrew Garfield的眼神里只有挤不出作品的焦虑和受伤，感受不太到艺术家的疯狂，但Jonathon Larson本人的歌词实在太戳了😭
