当权力要作恶的时候，包括法律程序都要变成其帮凶。人们并非不知道权力的丑陋，只是因为软弱他们选择了岁月静好。体制并非无法被撼动，只是需要躺下成为滚木的受难者。
那一代人其实往往也在失控的边缘，peace 和love 也可能演变为暴动，而法庭给了一个特别平复情绪的地方。
最后歌曲响起很感动，虽然对那段历史不太了解，也看得出是美国一贯的电影风格，追求自由才是宪法精神。
