The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 很用心的故乡电影，好喜欢方言电影里的传统习俗描绘，什么时候我这家乡能出来一两个大导演呐。
感觉是潮汕版的贾樟柯。最惊艳的是369他妈。

一个不是被汕头人拉着绝对不会想着来看的 意外的很好看的电影！看温情也很有地方特色！
越来越喜欢也越来越想看看这种发掘本土文化的方言电影，可能是语言逻辑和叙事铺垫更加亲切吧。故事情节可能老套，但是当它不着痕迹地融入到市井生活里，并不觉得乏味。

这部电影想打破外地人对潮汕的刻板印象，潮汕老一辈虽然封建，但是现在已经有很大的变化了。他们虽然更喜欢本地人，但更希望自己的孩子能幸福。影片很真实的还原了潮汕家庭的生活习惯。老奶奶和黑妞是本篇的笑点，只有听得懂潮汕话才会觉得好笑。没有刻意的煽情，真情实感的流露让我潸然泪下。

这种语言不通带来的隔阂还真有点让我想到李安的电影，非常特色的潮汕文化，还挺真实的。
