The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 和女友首次的映画館デート选了两个人都喜欢且愿意在影院看的片 祇園祭喧闹后的疲惫在坐到椅子上时差点睡着 但一下就被开场的中国元素给笑醒 然后顺利看完 感想就是作为前传故事完整 看到梗和元素出现那么多有点开心但又觉得可惜 固有印象太深了 不管看几次 还是觉得小黄人就是最可爱的！可爱=正义 最后！我真的好想去隔壁USJ啊！！！

6-6.5｜剧本不行….一人不行要有伙伴这个正派人物弧是成立的，但是反派是个团诶，而且大战也没见靠合作啊，不过是小黄人狮吼功，正反派对立完全就不成立，如果把老头和恶人团位置倒换倒也还说得过去，但这样正派太强编不出故事，最好的应该是反派就做一个单团体单飞的恶人，这样才能对起来。但何必这么讲究呢？完全就是为了小黄人去的，cuteness overdose….太可爱了太治愈了，还有好多reference甚至有我碟中谍诶！我看得开心死了！喜欢！（国内不上挺可惜的….
Gru满是恶作剧的童年也让人觉得可爱，比小黄人们还可爱！
看过的中国元素最多且都没有出错的电影了，完事马上把之前买的小黄人公仔摆了出来，怎么能这么可爱！
相比前作更大程度发挥了小黄人的萌点以及恶人格鲁这个系列真正灵魂的功效，以至于尽管故事的拼凑感很强也仍然在榨取清怪但娱乐性上显然比第一部要高，那国内没过审的原因也不难猜了，现在这环境下你保不齐十二生肖变身的高潮会得罪多少人
为什么现在大家都爱添加一些莫名其妙的中国元素啊……是否能在中国上映都难说吧。但是我终于记住了小黄人的名字：凯文、斯图尔特、鲍勃、奥托。

小黄人电影真的久违了，一瞬间梦回童年。
最近还看了巴斯光年，比巴斯光年要好太多了，该看的4DX，很久没有那么开心！
短小精悍，全程卖萌，中国元素，热热闹闹，孩子还是会喜欢的。
好喜欢minions🥺🥺🥺全程都很有意思成年人看也不会觉得小儿科（除了剧情大致走向啦）而且很多情怀向细节！很多Gru长大后的影响都解释了。配乐也一如既往地很好
中国元素挺多，小黄人果然人见人爱。格鲁也是个非常有原则的坏人，没有人会拒绝伙伴吧，格鲁的小伙计数量有点惊人。
