The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 虽然每一步的逃狱都不能让人眼前一亮，但是好在人物塑造的都很鲜明，暖暖的兄弟情真让人羡慕。
介于能看与不能看之间，故事很俗套，前狱长摆弄众人，妄图逃狱的故事。直接削弱狱警与囚犯之间矛盾(最有看点的)。陈豪新狱长就是工具人，树立监狱人权形象的
后半段逻辑崩溃

导演到最后估计不知道怎么收场了，所以镜头一转，枪声过后，留下个孤影，算是了悬念：结果怎样，你们自个想吧
真的很喜欢打架打到床上的剧情，但是因为男主太丑了只能给这么多。
Biopic最怕就是没有记忆点，特别是跨越多个时间段。选JH来演是对的，她的演绎和歌曲是很强的记忆点，但这些都是观众早已熟悉的。影片对人物深度和时代背景的挖掘还欠些力度。

社会有社会的规矩，监狱有监狱道义～
越来越走向“贺岁欢乐温情兄弟片”的感觉了，看着很轻松，而且难得很明媚的监狱片。人物自然是刻板的，转变也有些突然，但对于判了三十年和终身监禁的人而言，可能确实会有些顿悟吧。有些人物也太工具人了。刀疤死前的演技确实很到位。别老想着讲大阴谋论，完成或者破坏一个事情就好了，电影和生活都一样。
还有滚筒哥，哦不，谭耀文，已经太熟啦，无需赘言了～

感觉每个娱乐巨星的成功和磨难都有相似之处。光环背后总有黑暗在攻击。黑人运动史几条线也在片子里略有交集。倒是片尾本人高龄出镜更让人感动。
