The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 韩国一贯的拍摄手法 没有结局 这个问题就是解决不了
豆瓣这是被劫持了吗，这么好的片被喷成这样。反正我是看哭了。也不觉得情节有什么不合理。难道爸爸被打死不是某种意义上的误杀吗?从爱奇艺的弹幕来看，大部分也都觉得拍的好，很感人。“我们可以卑微的或者，但是不能像虫子一样踩死”
这剧其实拍的非常沉闷，我分了三次才看完的，代入感是事件本身而不是剧情。然后要说的就是既然是真实事件，那么到底什么医生可以自己解剖妻子尸体？最后要说的就是用什么加湿器，太不安全了，我这种不舍得用纯净水供养它的反而就了自己一命？
依旧是用误杀做壳，讲述救赎的故事，所以才能成为系列片吧。
我知道拍的是很差，但是却也戳到我了。看到短评说这部电影背景放在泰国是为了过审吧，想想就更觉得难过，我们这里被要求捂着嘴巴视而不见太久了，甚至忘记了该怎样抵抗。

韩国还是那么敢拍啊 如果不是这个内部领导的孩子老婆也得了这病 故事会怎样？也许是为了结局的反转吧 但是这样安排 稍微有点弱
被肖央圈粉，他还真适合演个又平凡又窝囊的小狠人～话说为啥都要设定在泰国呢？？两个女演员略嫩，不如第一部那么霸气不可侵犯。那个鬼面具是谁？？
故事不行，漏洞还多，这些编导就是喜欢省事和捷径。
比起原版，许多改编感觉有点蹩脚，整体还行，肖央表演不错。
PS 为了能更好表明立场、增强区分度，现在开始提高三星门槛，有时间的时候会追溯调整之前的标记（长津湖准备好我要来了搓手手～）。

悬疑不足，温情有余。感动到我了。妻子和记者两个演员都好好看！
通过真实来演，不过我还是比较喜欢最后几段，演的比较好点。
